  • Nina is available for face-to-face appointments on Wednesdays and telehealth appointments only on Thursdays.

  • We acknowledge that unexpected life circumstances may impact your ability to attend your appointment. We ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment so we are able to fill the appointment time.

    Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the appointment fee.

    No-show or cancellation within 2 hours of the appointment will incur a charge of the full appointment fee.

    Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will not incur any fee.

  • Individual session

    The cost for a 50-minute appointment is $230.

    If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will receive a $93.35 Medicare rebate.

    Couples counselling session

    The cost for a 50 minute couples counselling session is $260.

  • No, you do not need a referral. You can book an appointment without a referral from a GP or Psychiatrist. If you do, you will need to pay the full amount of the session out of your own pocket.

    If you would like to know if you are eligible for a referral under a Mental Health Treatment Plan you will need to speak to your GP or Psychiatrist prior to your appointment.

  • If you have a referral from your GP or Psychiatrist for a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $93.35 per individual session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Your rebate will be processed after the payment of your session and the funds will appear in your Medicare nominated account within 24-48 hours.

    If you have Private Health Insurance that includes psychological counselling you may be eligible for a partial rebate. It is recommended that you contact your Private Health Insurer for further information.

  • No, we do not currently accept clients through third party organisations.

  • No, unfortunately Medicare only provides rebates for individual sessions, not couples counselling.

    If you have Private Health Insurance, contact your provider to see if they offer rebates on couples counselling.
